#8: A Quick Stop at the Office
One of the customary questions that often arises on a date is, “What do you do for a living?” People take a keen interest in their prospective partners’ professions, as it can provide insight into their character and interests. However, the choice of profession can also be a deal-breaker for some. Take, for example, the dilemma of dating a funeral director—a profession undoubtedly associated with sad and melancholy themes.

How do you ask them, “How was your day?” when you’re not eager to delve into the details? In such cases, discretion is often the better part of valor, and taking your date to your office, especially on the first date, may not be the wisest choice.
