Last year. HTC had brought back its Wildfire series from the past by announcing the budget-friendly Wildfire X smartphone. Today, the Taiwanese company unveiled a new Wildfire phone called Wildfire R70 in the country. Let’s see what this new smartphone can pack. For the display, HTC Wildfire R70 specs flaunt a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
Next, talking about the software, the HTC phone runs on Android 9 Pie as the operating system. In the hardware department, this handset comes running on the Mediatek Helio P23 chipset with Mali-G71 MP2 as the processor. What about the storage system, the HTC flagship ships with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. Moreover, it can be expandable with microSD cards up to 256GB.
In terms of photography, the HTC Wildfire R70 camera packs a triple-sensor setup on the back. It comprises of 16MP primary shooter with an f/1.7 of aperture + 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 of aperture + 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 of aperture. Besides, for taking selfies and video calls, there is a single 8MP lens at the front-facing. Concerning the battery capacity, the HTC device draws a non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh energy box which supports 10W charging. On the other hand, colour editions can be Aurora Blue and Nigh Black when available.

The company has no announcement about the availability and pricing of this smartphone. Hopefully, we expect to meet the HTC phone in the third quarter of this year.
