The Huawei P40 series has recently been unveiled through a Livestream on the company’s official website. In details, the new lineup includes three new devices: Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro and the new Huawei P40 Plus. Moreover, the company revealed about expanding the Huawei App Gallery that competes against Google Play. All three smartphone comes with a pill-shaped hole-punch display and includes a multi-camera setup at the back.
Now, let’s talk about the specs on the standard model! For the display, Huawei P40 specs offer a 6.1-inch OLED with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Meanwhile, Huawei P40 Pro specs flaunt a 6.58 inches OLED (1200 x 2640 pixels). Regarding the software, these Huawei handsets work on Android 10.0-based EMUI 10. In hardware-wise, the two smartphones use the Hisilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset.
As per the memory aspect, Huawei P40 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. Whereas, Huawei P40 Pro ships with two memory variants 128GB/ 8GB RAM, 256GB/ 8GB RAM (expandable to 256GB)/ Are you waiting for the optics department? Now, Huawei P40 camera rocks a triple 50MP + 8MP + 16MP lenses to the back. On the front, it has a single 32MP shooter. Furthermore, Huawei P40 Pro camera packs quad sensors on the rear. It consists of a 50MP + Periscope 12 MP + 40MP + TOF 3D depth sensor and a dual 32MP + TOF 3D front-facing snapper. Lastly, talking about the battery, Huawei P40 bears a 3800mAh energy box while Huawei P40 Pro houses a larger 4200mAh.
