In this rather humorous tale, we encounter a husband and wife who find themselves at odds, each convinced of their correctness. The husband believed it was high time to clean the floor, but his wife disagreed. She proposed a compromise: he should clean just half of the floor to illustrate the contrast between the clean and dirty sides of the room.

Taking this suggestion to heart, the husband embarked on his cleaning mission, but with a twist. He cleaned the floor in a checkerboard pattern, creating the illusion of having tile floors.
