The Deepest Indoor Pool in the World
At first glance, this picture almost looks unreal. It’s hard to tell where the water begins and where it ends…if it even does truly end. Called Nemo 33 and located in Brussels, this deepwater indoor pool continues into the depths for a whopping 33 meters (108 feet). If you’re fearless in extreme water depths, grab your flippers and a scuba diving set and jump right in!
It’s interesting to see that one of the divers is photographing what appears to be a simple concrete wall. What does he see that others don’t? The mesmerizing image of Nemo 33 challenges our perceptions of scale and reality. The seemingly infinite expanse of water beckons exploration and curiosity, while the diver’s actions hint at hidden wonders within the pool’s depths. It invites us to question what lies beneath the surface, both literally and metaphorically, prompting us to dive deeper into the mysteries of the world around us.
