Besides the high-end Reno series, Chinese brand Oppo is reportedly working on a new affordable smartphone under its A series. According to our sources, the handset is going to be the successor of the previously launched Oppo A11. Today, this Oppo A12 appears on Geekbench with model number CPH2083. Besides, the Geekbench scores of the phone recorded at 900 in the single-core test and 3,754 in the multi-core test.
Similar to its brother, the new OPPO phone is going to belong in the more affordable price range. Regarding the design, it should pack a bezel-less display with a water-drop notch. On the other hand, the new device reportedly features a dual-camera system on the back. Regarding the software department, the Oppo handset is going to run on Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.
Coming to the hardware, the Oppo smartphone gets power from the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. On the other side, the Oppo device arrives in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Talking about the optics department, the Oppo A12 camera packs a dual 13MP + 2MP lenses setup on the rear. Also, the front camera includes a single 8MP sensor for taking selfies and video calls. Concerning the battery, the Oppo handset houses a 3700mAh juice box. As for the display, the OPPO device could feature 6.2-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels.
Oppo A12 release date and price
