In 2021, the Chinese company released the Oppo A55 5G and Oppo A95 handsets with great specs. From what we learnt, OPPO is already starting the work on the next successor of these two devices under the name Oppo A96 5G. On the other hand, more photos of this OPPO phone have appeared on various websites so far, revealing its brand new design. Based on the images, we could spot two large cameras on the back and an under-display lens upfront.
As for the storage, the Oppo device sports 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage. Moreover, this new smartphone now arrives with a MicroSD slot for further expansion up to 256GB. Furthermore, the Oppo handset accepts power from a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. As for the display, Oppo A96 5G specs flaunt a 6.7-inch IPS LCD of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 ratio aspect.
Furthermore, the smartphone features a waterdrop notch with a 16MP f/2.0 lens nested inside. On the other side, the Oppo handset runs on Android 11 as the operating system. Imaging-wise, the Oppo A96 5G camera packs a dual lens at the rear setup. It consists of a 64MP primary sensor + a 12MP depth lens. Battery-wise, the Oppo device houses a decent 6000mAh juice box that supports 40W fast charging. Lastly, it will be available in black, green, and blue/aurora color options.
