Can’t Take What’s Not There
In a second episode of doctors trying to remove something that’s not there, we have this gem of a doctor who wanted to schedule surgery to remove a nonexistent gallbladder. Maybe medical records are long and a pain to read for every patient?
It’s the only explanation for how so many doctors can be clueless. It’s understandable if that is the case; doctors are overworked, so likely will do what they can to save time when something is unnecessary. That’s no excuse to cut corners, though.
