When it comes to acting, most performers have to embody characters that are quite different from themselves. While this may be appealing to some actors, it’s not necessarily what everyone envisions when they first enter the competitive world of acting. Perhaps more of us should take our mothers’ advice to “be more ourselves” because you never know where that authenticity could lead you.
Did you know that the character Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter is loosely based on a real person? Evanna Lynch, who portrayed Luna in the film series, is said to embody many of Luna’s quirky traits in real life. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’re well aware of how unique and whimsical her character is. We can only imagine what it’s like to have a conversation with her in person!
