False-Promise Cookies
During the holiday season, it’s common for residents to exchange baked treats as a way to spread kindness and holiday cheer. From pumpkin bread to chocolate fudge, people take pride in showcasing their culinary talents and sharing delicious goodies as a friendly tradition.

One resident received a plate of cookies from their neighbor during Christmas, and they thoroughly enjoyed the treats. However, their enjoyment turned to concern when they discovered a warning on the bottom of the plate. It indicated that the plate was intended for decorative purposes only, as it might contain materials that could potentially contaminate food. The neighbor’s intention, whether humorous or not, remained a mystery.
