#2: The Moving Odyssey
The prospect of moving is often heralded with an initial surge of excitement. The idea of starting anew in a different environment fills you with enthusiasm. However, this excitement swiftly diminishes as you delve deeper into the logistical labyrinth of the moving process. As you gaze upon the vast expanse of possessions you have accumulated over the years, you question whether it’s possible to traverse this Herculean task without losing your sanity.
It’s genuinely astonishing the sheer quantity of belongings that can accumulate throughout one’s lifetime. I speculate that those who relocate yearly fare significantly better in this regard. For them, moving becomes akin to an annual ritual, a purification of sorts, where the excess baggage of useless possessions is systematically shed. In contrast, those facing the daunting prospect of moving after seven to ten years in the same abode are confronted with a formidable inventory of redundant items. This sight can easily render one wide-eyed and overwhelmed.
