#8: The Procrastination Paradox
As a work-from-home mom, I’ve cultivated a remarkable talent for procrastination. I belong to that category of individuals who require a looming deadline to spring into action. Inform me that a task is due in two weeks, and I’ll patiently wait for eleven to twelve days before even considering starting it. Rest assured, it does get done, but the impending deadline remains the chief motivator.
Interestingly, if there isn’t a deadline looming overhead, I dive right into my tasks. Also, business attire being optional, regardless of one’s workplace, resonates deeply. Imagine the joy if we could all don comfy yoga pants or shorts at the office. It’s precisely why so many of us relish the freedom of working from home!
