5. Conclusion, pros and cons
Conclusion
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G price is at INR 31,999 in India, departing from the budget-friendly Redmi series and positioning itself as a more premium offering. In return for this price point, the device offers several notable advantages. The impressive design and build quality set a new standard for Redmi phones. The display is of high quality and offers an excellent visual experience. Everyday performance is commendable, making it a smooth and responsive device for various tasks. Including lightning-quick 120W charging, along with the provided charger, is a standout feature that adds value to the package.

However, our experience with the camera left much to be desired. While the lossless zoom feature stemming from the massive 200MP resolution is impressive, it was overshadowed by noticeable color issues affecting all the cameras on the device. The silver lining is that these issues are potentially fixable, and we hope that the company takes this feedback into account to improve the camera performance, given the capable hardware.
Unfortunately, we anticipate limited changes on the software side, which remains one of the weakest aspects of a Redmi device. Despite the rising prices, the phone still comes preloaded with bloatware, advertisements, and apps that deliver bothersome notifications. These aspects are concerning and irritating, especially at the elevated price points of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G.
It appears that the company is attempting to strike a balance by increasing the retail pricing of the phones while retaining income from the software-related nuisances. However, we assert that this approach is not tenable. If Xiaomi wishes to charge a premium price, it must also deliver a premium user experience, which includes addressing software issues and eliminating unwanted bloatware and advertisements.
