This is a classic “you had one job” moment, where someone manages to mess up an incredibly simple task. It takes a special set of skills to botch something this basic, so before passing judgment, one should consider that perhaps this was done intentionally as a joke. If not, then it’s a source of amusement.

The only real requirement for this job is a basic knowledge of directions – you can’t be underqualified for such a task. However, some people still find a way to bungle even the simplest tasks. Some individuals are just that way (or “right-handed”?).
