Subway gives a hand (and a sub) to people experiencing homelessness. The sign below dictates that every Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm, the restaurant will dole out free meals to people experiencing homelessness. What a wonderful way to help the community and feed those who need to be fed from a completely unexpected place. Now everyone can eat fresh!

Like the pizza joint above, Subway is taking a page out of the charitable book by giving free food to people experiencing homelessness. Again, this not only helps underprivileged people, but it aids in putting an end to night food waste. Here’s to hoping Subway isn’t discarding a bunch of food by closing time.
