This Manhattanite likes to help out the city from time to time. Here, a passerby caught her cleaning an island between streets in Manhattan. He asked her why she was sprucing up the area. The anonymous lady responded that the city doesn’t have time to get to everything, so she likes to help whenever possible.

It’s like Mr. Rogers said – during times of crisis, look for the helpers. While this woman isn’t necessarily cleaning the city amid a catastrophic event, she’s still providing a very helpful service. Every little bit counts. If everyone contributed even a fraction of what this woman is doing, the world would be better.
