Finder’s (Not) Keepers

This good Samaritan not only retrieved someone’s lost wallet from a rental car but they left an immensely detailed note alongside it. The note acknowledges everything inside the wallet – ID, credit cards, etc. It shows that the founder didn’t tamper with the wallet’s contents. Hopefully, but the gesture is lovely all the same.

The list of contents is a way to reassure the owner that everything is present and accounted for once they get their wallet back. Additionally, the person who found said wallet must look inside it for identification. Thus, it all checks out. Nothing shady here. Only good stuff.
