Going Through a Rebellious Phase

This isn’t exactly an act of kindness, but something that warmed our hearts nonetheless. Some kids go through a rebellious phase growing up, skipping their curfew or learning a few curse words. These parents did something right; their daughter’s “rebellious act” was reading under her covers late.

We can relate to that – escaping to other magical realms under the covers into the night. Of course, this eight-year-old wasn’t as clever as she thought, and her parents knew what she was doing. They’ve decided to play along, allow this “rebellious phase” to go on, and even secretly encourage it by replacing the batteries on her flashlight.
