You Got Me There
Here’s a presumably lighthearted exchange between a teacher and a student where the student deserves recognition for their clever response. The teacher asked, “Did you do your homework?” the student retorted, “Did you grade my test?” The teacher replied, “I have other students’ tests to grade,” the student shot back with, “I have other teachers’ homework to do.”

Admittedly, such a response might not fly in most schools where students are expected to show respect to their teachers. However, respect is a two-way street earned through mutual understanding. Sometimes, teachers may wield too much control over their students, which can lead to such witty retorts. Nonetheless, the student won this round.
