A Negative Tip?
You’ve seen bad and no tips, but a customer attempted to leave a negative tip in this case. Yes, you read that correctly. Some people try negotiating discounts with the manager, while others take it upon themselves to deduct a “discount” from their bill. That’s precisely what this individual attempted.

Firstly, customers do not have the authority to determine their bills. That’s the restaurant’s responsibility; this isn’t a bartering system. Secondly, this behavior is entirely unlawful. The only way to make it more illegal would be if the customer broke into the cash register and adjusted the bill themselves. Fortunately, it didn’t come to that.
