Incident: A Lesson in Misplaced Feedback
Time and again, it becomes evident that some customers lack a fundamental understanding of how the service industry operates, as exemplified in this scenario. Here, we encountered another customer who left an inadequate tip and decided to offer what they considered a “helpful suggestion.” Regrettably, this customer chose an inappropriate approach and unwittingly targeted the wrong employee.

This customer seems to believe that the server possesses the authority to oversee kitchen operations. Did they assume the server would come across this bill, halt their duties, and terminate all kitchen staff immediately? Such delusions abound! Servers often bear the brunt of frustration merely because they are the most visible faces. This inequity in treatment is simply unjust.
