The life of an actor can be so overwhelming that they, too, find themselves compelled to shout something random while on set. Don’t we all? Well, during the filming of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, that’s precisely what happened to actor Andre Braugher.

As Amy faced questioning about her activities, Captain Holt, seemingly out of the blue (and not in the script), belted out something quite uncharacteristic. Although it wasn’t originally planned as part of the show, the directors were enamored with how it turned out and chose to keep it. These small, spontaneous moments contribute to the show’s greatness.
