We all know that one charismatic badboy character who somehow manages to win everyone over despite his rough exterior and attitude. In the popular drama series Lost, that character is Sawyer. Surprisingly, Josh Holloway secured the role because he completely flubbed his audition.

During his audition, Josh wasn’t adequately prepared, and he didn’t hold back when he stumbled over lines or made mistakes. He shouted, screamed, and even kicked a chair around the room. However, his temper didn’t deter the writers; they loved his authenticity so much that they redefined the character and cast Josh to play the new and improved Sawyer.
