Forgetting lines, especially when they’re in a foreign language, is a common occurrence. When it happens, filming halts, lines are reviewed, and another take begins, requiring patience. However, when the forgotten language is entirely made up, there’s a chance to fool the audience.

On the set of Game of Thrones, Iain Glen forgot his lines written in the fictional Dothraki language when the language creator wasn’t present to assist. The actor had to improvise, and he did, speaking in complete gibberish. Fortunately, no one could call him out, and he made it appear entirely authentic!
