There are numerous reasons why people choose to get married in a church, and most do not even consider the possibility of a wedding on a boat. Losing the bride’s ring into the lake is probably not at the top of the concerns when planning a boat wedding. Sea sickness might be a more pressing issue.

One can only hope they were able to recover the ring somehow, though it does seem like a daunting task. Did someone brave a dive into the lake in search of the precious ring? And even if they did, what are the odds of successfully locating it? Losing a wedding ring is certainly not the ideal start to a marriage, but at least they now have a somewhat humorous story to share.
