This story is undeniably odd yet strangely heartwarming. Firstly, it’s heartening that the groom’s aunt was able to find love again—and so close by! Moving two houses down for love seems like an easy transition; you wouldn’t even need a moving truck. However, this neighborhood appears to have shared more than sugar during casual gatherings.

It’s humorous that the couple decided to make a swift exit from the wedding as if they could somehow catch a bit of the neighborhood’s love bug. Then again, finding out that 16 people around you have all been through divorces and still managed to maintain friendships strong enough to attend each other’s weddings might leave anyone feeling a bit bewildered.
