Not an Aurora Borealis
Norway is known for its stunning light displays in the sky, particularly the Northern Lights that grace its vast expanse. But there’s another celestial phenomenon that has captured the attention of stargazers: the Hessdalen Lights.

The Hessdalen Lights are unexplained beams of light that stretch across 7.5 miles of Norway’s skies. These lights appear randomly, with around 20 reported sightings by ordinary citizens. Despite extensive observation, their origins and causes remain a mystery, and fortunately, they don’t appear to pose any harm.
