A Beacon of Light on Mars
Unusual photos from Mars rovers are not uncommon, considering these uncrewed vessels are exploring an alien planet. However, one recent image captured by the Curiosity rover left NASA scientists astounded. In the distance, a bright light source appears to emit a beam of light into the Martian sky.

If there is no life on Mars, how can this light source be explained? If there is life, did extraterrestrials flee upon detecting an unfamiliar object traversing their rugged terrain? Curiosity, true to its name, continues to provide photographic evidence of the unknown.
