I’ve come to the defense of the air industry a lot on this list. I’ve pointed out that it’s not always the airline or the pilot’s fault when a flight is delayed. There are a lot of things that can cause problems, from weather to unexpected delays caused by passengers and other sources.

But apparently, sometimes delays are definitely the airline employees’ fault. I believe we would all be profoundly displeased if it transpired that our flights were delayed due to flight attendants excessively indulging in revelry the night before. The next time my flight experiences a delay, I intend to scrutinize the cause with great suspicion.
