Dad…Is That You?
While undoubtedly some spectacular handmade Halloween costumes are out there, most of them eventually meet their fate in the trash. Such is the cycle of life for these one-time creations. However, someone in this storyteller’s neighborhood decided to break the cycle by recycling and repurposing an entirely serviceable costume.
Our storyteller had worn an incredible red Lego costume for Halloween one year, only to see it consigned to the dumpster after the festivities. Surprisingly, someone else discovered and reclaimed it. This mysterious individual casually strutted around the neighborhood, seemingly calm, donning the vintage Lego costume. It may have been unconventional, but it didn’t harm anyone. Let’s allow these individuals to derive their enjoyment as they see fit!
