A Handful of Chips
Receiving potato chips as a Halloween treat doesn’t sound half-bad; it can be a delightful alternative to candy. However, there is indeed a right way and a wrong way to distribute chips on Halloween. Unfortunately, this particular individual chose the wrong approach. They bought a massive family-size bag instead of purchasing individual snack-size chip packs.
As each child approached their porch, the person would scoop a handful of chips directly from the bag and deposit it into the kids’ candy bags. Yes, you read that correctly. They used their bare hands to handle a batch of potato chips before passing them on to strangers. It’s safe to say that many would find this quite unappetizing. Who knows where those hands had been before delving into the chip bag?
