#37: Walk the Talk
Certain individuals should learn the art of practicing what they preach, especially when they occupy public positions meant to set examples. When public figures fail to adhere to their rules, how can they expect the citizens who look up to them to follow suit?
This is a classic case of the Karen archetype; these individuals often hold others to a certain standard, even as they disregard those standards themselves. The regulations they insist on for others mysteriously exempt them. This entitled “I want to speak to the manager” mindset encourages them to act and speak as they please.
