The Man in the Attic
Children often engage in imaginative play and interact with imaginary friends during their normal developmental stages. Consequently, parents tend to grant them space during these solitary moments of play. In one household, a mother allowed her son to explore the attic, a seemingly benign choice that took a chilling turn.

As they sifted through old photographs of their apartment one day, the boy pointed at an aged picture of a man and claimed that this individual assisted him with his toy trains in the attic. The revelation left the mother deeply unsettled. Upon investigation, she discovered that the man in the photograph had indeed resided in the apartment years ago but had long since passed away. While the notion of a ghostly presence is disconcerting, it pales in comparison to the idea of a living, mysterious figure inhabiting the attic. In such circumstances, a spectral visitor might be the preferable option.
