An Ancient Past Life
Fostering a passion for history in young children is always a gratifying sight. This particular child’s fascination with Ancient Egyptian civilization took an extraordinary turn when he began crafting an elaborate narrative about his own life connected to this ancient era. The genesis of this captivating tale transpired during a shopping excursion when the child spotted “Egyptian figurines” in a store.

During the subsequent car ride home, the child delved into intricate details of his purported life in Egypt. Strikingly, the child had not been exposed to Egyptian history or culture, at least to the parents’ knowledge. Consequently, the parents were astounded when their fact-checking endeavors validated every element of the child’s narrative. The problem lay in whether the child had surreptitiously absorbed historical knowledge or had indeed experienced an inexplicable connection to ancient Egypt in a past life.
