Any Bug, Every Time
I’ve witnessed this exact scenario myself. I visited a friend and her children, only to catch a cold the following weekend. Children seem to be remarkable germ carriers; it’s almost perplexing how effortlessly they can make their parents sick while remaining perfectly fine. Perhaps they possess some secret to building immunity that eludes us adults.
It could also be a matter of the kids being somewhat oblivious to how easily they can spread germs. After all, they’re still learning about proper hygiene. One thing is certain: being a parent often comes with a substantial increase in how frequently you fall ill. It’s just a reality of the job.
