The Paradox of Children
It’s a curious quirk of human nature that you don’t have to be a fully grown adult to believe that you know everything and possess superior knowledge compared to those around you. Experiencing the relentless slaps of life can be a surefire way for mature adults to begin realizing that they know very little.
Conversely, children typically lack the life experiences that might lead them to this humbling realization. They often assume, with great ease, that they already possess all the knowledge required for life. While they are mistaken in this belief, it’s a phase that most of us have passed through on our journey to adulthood, where we now know absolutely everything.
