#18: Ready for Doodling?
There are so many conditions and diseases that the average person has never heard of. Dermatographia might be one of them. Have you ever heard of it? It’s where a person’s skin gets red and inflamed when lightly scratched. Someone who has dermatographia shared what it’s like for those of us who have no experience.

Their dermatographia can be triggered by even the gentlest scratch, whether from a fingernail or a blunt object. This results in red hives or welts appearing on their skin. In fact, the reaction is so pronounced that they can write their name in hives on their forearm simply by gently scratching it with a finger. It’s a unique manifestation of dermatographia that can create visually interesting effects on their skin.
