#21: Iris Speckles
The presence of moles inside the eye is a relatively rare but intriguing phenomenon. The good news is that these ocular moles, also known as iris nevi or iris freckles, are typically benign and don’t pose a significant health risk. They appear as small, dark spots on the colored part of the eye, the iris. While their exact cause is not always clear, they are believed to be related to pigmentation or genetic factors.

These unique eye features, surprisingly, are not only harmless most of the time but also not as rare as one might think. They serve as a reminder of the intricate variations in human anatomy and contribute to our fascinating individuality. Importantly, they typically have no adverse effects on vision or overall eye health, highlighting the resilience and diversity of human eyes.
