#33: Unraveling the Mystery of Neck Rumbles
The body is pretty predictable. When we’re cold, we shake. When we’re hungry, our stomachs growl. But what about this person? They shared that whenever they feel hungry, they get a “fizzy” feeling in their neck rather than a grumbling stomach. They can even hear this fizzy sensation and describe it as sounding like a rainstick. Woah.
They’re unsure of what exactly is going on. We are, too. Some might guess it has something to do with their cerebrospinal fluid or CSF. CSF is a clear fluid around our brains and spinal cords for protection. Some people have guessed that this fizzy feeling and sound result from the CSF moving around. Whatever the reason, it sounds concerning.
