#31: Exploring the Power of Visualization
Some individuals possess a more vivid imagination than others, yet we all experience the act of visualizing in our minds. Whether through reading or daydreaming, our mental imagery allows us to explore wild visions and exercise creative freedom. Surprisingly, not everyone forms pictures in their minds at all, highlighting the diverse ways in which individuals perceive and engage with their thoughts and surroundings.

People unable to form mental images have a condition called aphantasia. Similar to being left-handed, it’s a natural variation, not a disability or disease. Most individuals with aphantasia navigate work and school without issue—it’s simply a unique way of experiencing the world.
