Heritage USA Christian Theme Park

Heritage USA, a Christian-themed amusement park in South Carolina, was the brainchild of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Opened in the 1980s, the park featured a waterpark, campgrounds, and biblical-themed attractions.

At its height, Heritage USA drew millions of visitors, but it was abruptly closed in 1989 after Jim Bakker was convicted of fraud. The park fell into disrepair, and what remains today are dilapidated buildings and memories of what was once a thriving attraction.
