Mukurob
Mukurob, known as the “Finger of God,” was a natural rock formation in Namibia that stood tall in the desert for thousands of years. Formed by erosion, Mukurob became a popular tourist attraction due to its striking shape and isolated location.

However, in December 1988, the formation collapsed, possibly due to an earthquake that struck as far away as Armenia. The collapse of Mukurob was a tragic loss for both locals and visitors, marking the end of a natural wonder that had stood for millennia.
