Yemen’s Sana’a
Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, stands as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, showcasing architectural marvels that have endured for thousands of years. Its rich history comes alive through its ancient buildings and narrow streets, which UNESCO has recognized and preserved as a World Heritage site, emphasizing the city’s cultural and historical importance.

However, the ongoing conflict and instability in Yemen have made the city unsafe for tourists, putting many of its ancient and natural structures at risk of damage or destruction. While Sana’a remains a place of great cultural and historical significance, the future of its heritage is uncertain due to the turmoil in the region.
