Kaimu Beach
Kaimu Beach in Hawaii was a natural wonder, celebrated for its striking black sand created by volcanic activity. Thousands of visitors flocked to experience its unique beauty until 1990 when the Kilauea Volcano erupted and buried the beach and nearby town of Kalapana in lava.

While the town was later rebuilt, Kaimu Beach was lost forever, replaced by hardened lava. What was once a magical, world-renowned beach has now become a part of history, preserved only in photographs and memories.
